The "Bob Semple" tank (as it is better known) is a truly interesting chapter in tank history. According to the few resources on the subject 3 to 4 where produced and the New Zealand army used them in parades throughout the country. The fact that more than two were built (series production) and the army used them in parades (active service) qualifies it for R/C Tank Combat! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Semple_tank http://armor.kiev.ua/Tanks/WWII/sempl http://mailer.fsu.edu/~akirk/tanks/newzealand/newzealand.html http://christchurchcitylibraries.com/Heritage/Photos/Disc5/IMG0034.asp Steve "Let The Corrugated Iron Roll" Tyng --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
