Like Chrys says, if you buy 2" (51mm) wide hinges in bulk (like $100 worth) they are very affordable. 4" wide ones like for an M48/M60/M1 are a little pricier, but if you're looking at something from WW2 most tanks and TDs can get by with 2" hinges for tracks.
