There's really only one construction rule: You must build the vehicle
either using 1:6 scale *or* you can make the vehicle at least 36" long
and then scale the width/height based on that dimension. The second
option allows you to build larger vehicles without making the model
impossibly large. It also allows you to make a vehicle larger to
increase the inner volume to assist with installing equipment.

and since you're from Chicago I should inform you that bribes *are*
accepted by club officials if you need a custom ruling :-)
