I have run sketchup in Wine on Ubuntu, bit of a dog though.

Yes I have been Windows free for Nearly 2 years. The only Windows
based app I miss is google sketchup, an ace of a program.
One day WINE may support it or google will do the honourable thing!!
But I have learned a bit of Blender which is a full featured 3D CAD
and rendering app. Free of course cos it's Linux =D
