I've started to build a new support vehicle. Using rock crawler axles
which have the axle, motor, transmission and steering all built in one
unit as they're easy to mount (it really bugers up the sprung /
unsprung weight ratio though . . .)

I started off looking at a Land Rover 101 FC but, in typical style,
soon found reasons not to build one. Instead I ended up with a
Shorland S52 - basically an armoured Land Rover 110.

The full size looks like this;

So far, my 1/6th scale version looks like ths;

Chassis and suspension aren't fitted and the wheels are just there to
give an idea of how it'll look when completed.
