A Saladin has a bigger turret..... Kurt (And it has 6 wheels!)G ----- Original Message ----- From: Derek Engelhaupt To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, January 26, 2010 8:32 AM Subject: Re: [TANKS] Re: New support vehicle.
Vehicles do not have to be 3" long if they are built in 1/6th scale. It's either or. I am a little fuzzy on the 3' rule. Couldn't you scale the Ferret to be 3'? It would look a little strange next to the tanks, but would meet the rule. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Phil Sent: Tuesday, January 26, 2010 10:07 AM To: R/C Tank Combat Subject: [TANKS] Re: New support vehicle. A Ferret (or similar) turret isn't very big- it's really just a helmet with good PR- and I can't see how you'd get a paintball marker into a 1/6th one. I suppose one might fit something like a water-cannon or airball gun and specify that it could only damage infantry or softskin tagets, but it's probably better to model a HMMWV with a TOW launcher or similar that can take out those pesky tanks.
