Hi tankbuilders. here comes a new update on my CV9040 project. the lower hull is taking form and i have built a removable transmission plate with gears and motors. I found 2 new 350w 24v scooter motors and a used spyder paintball marker on the swedish ebay. The upper hull and turret is also in progress.The gear ring on the turret baseplate is machined from a AUDI flywheel and the turret drive is the motor from a 18v dewalt drill. the hull stiffener/turret drive attachment is a half inch thick aluminium plate milled to be stiff and light. the upper hull is formed from 0.100 inch aluminium sheet and waits for some bending. to be continued....
