I knew the term "academic" would have Prof. Sommer chiming in with an
R&D Proposal, request for funding, and an offer to pimp out a graduate
student :-)
I say good luck to any grad student who gets the Wii controller and
infrared transmitter working properly on a moving vehicle on the
battlefield, even if only the buttons are used. The sun has a little
more power than the controller LED and infrared detectors can't see
through paint!!
Besides, the $100 offer was funded by selling some of your stuff at the
Techno Swap Fest. So, in either case, a check in that amount will be
heading north soon ... either payable to you or one of your grad
students ... your choice ;-)
