I am planning on making another one out of metal, now that I have all of the 
dimensions down... 
I'll probably make it out of aluminum (because of the strength-to-weight 
ratio).

I remember seeing a website about a couple of guys doing the same but using the 
plastic to create and cast in aluminium for a more durable RC wagon
