All: Been building the turret. Its constructed of .062 inch sheet aluminum. Its a heck of a job to get all the angles to fit up. The facets are individualy bent, then screwed or pop rivited in place. Its very light weight but still rigid.
The gun is an Invert Mini - one of the smallest paintball markers around. It requires no cocking and has an electronic trigger. It is mounted with no modifications. The gun mounting pivots about the feeder fitting. That allows the feed tube to remain stationary as the gun pivots. The feed tube supplies 17 quick shots. I'll make the machine gun mount, on top of the turret, into a paintball hopper / filler. This allows additional ball storage and more height to feed balls, and will make for a quick fill. Pictures: The aluminum looks dirty - needs to be cleaned and painted, then it will look good! http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z65/mm123521/HPIM0823.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z65/mm123521/HPIM0822.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z65/mm123521/HPIM0829.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z65/mm123521/HPIM0828.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z65/mm123521/HPIM0827.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z65/mm123521/HPIM0830.jpg Mark . -- You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
