Really great job all around, Mark. I have immense respect for anybody who
can make a realistic Abram's turret. I have to admit that I was skeptical of
your air-blast feed assist and I'm happy to be wrong.
Tanks are difficult to aim. Proportional turret speed control helps. Because
I have some smarts in my tank control system, I built a couple of features
that add some accuracy. I have a dual speed turret control, plus
proportional control. In slow mode I can fine tune the rotation pretty well.
I also have the elevation programmed to give me fine control over it. I'm
not certain how you could build these features with standard R/C, however.
I'm working my next tank, a T-72. It will have some double-secret technology
that should make aiming even better. Sorry, details are only available to
members of the Pennsylvania Urban Fighting Force :)

Videos of the new M1A1 shooting paintballs.
It has a tube magazine, with an air blast paintball feed assist.
You can see some of the shots break in the barrel.
Its because of very poor quality, mis-shaped paintballs.
I have shot 160 paintballs (4 magazines full) and the feed system is
very reliable.
Its very hard to aim this thing, is that typical??
It even has fully porportional turret rotation.
