I have just read in the Glass Ceiling battle I report :-

"it was decided that the artillery operators would simply walk back to
home base themselves when more ammo was needed. Furthermore, we
allowed the artillery to be invincible (no guard soldiers) to "give
the rookies a chance".

Well things sound like the US girlies enjoyed an easy time of it , Our
Claire was the only girl at the event and never asked nor were offered
to be in command of an "invincible" Field Artillery piece .
I put it to the Americans that the girlies on your side of the pond
had a much softer experience than on ours.
We could put this down to the high level of gentlmanship that you MAG
boys possess.
This is to be commended.
