It actualy works very well. But I have gone with a diff design for simplicity. Pics soon. That particular photo was of the prototype bogie. I would never build a functional unit of wood like that, even the wheels are hardly round. The concept works but only allows for 3/4" to 1" of travel.
I know it sounds strange that I got my grandpa working on the bulk of my tank, but even at 77 he hardly slows down. He actualy calls my wife up a home to ask if i can come over and "play". He's so disapointed when I'm at work. Realy tho I consider myself the luckiest guy in world for having a build partner like him. Doug, youre right, he needs to build his own as well.
