You are starting this fall as a freshman too?

Hi everyone,

I'm probably the youngest guy ever to email you guys about starting an RC tank
being a freshman this fall. I recently started on my vehicle. It is a 1:30
scale(ish) wood-metal-plastic Sturmgeschutz IV (sorry, yahoo doesn't have and U
umlaut). It won't fire paint balls, but BBs will be the ammo. As a
consequence I won't be able to compete in any competitions, but I like to think
it would be a worthy adversary to and Heng Long crap out of China. So far the
gear boxes are done (two separate butchered servos), the wheels are in
progress, the lower chassis is being completed and the receiver and transmitter
are coming soon. The motors I'm worried about. They seem small, so I don't
know if they will hold up or even push the darned thing (my estimamted weight
is about 1.5 lb to 2 lb). If anyone has any tips, please, I'm open.
Tim H
