You might check on mcmaster carr it somewhere but the 4 in 40 pitch refers to spacing between teeth in 1/8inches and in metric it's half that. So 12b is metric (hence the b) and it's 12/16 or 6/8 ths thus the same as 60 pitch chain which is the big stuff Will carries.
