well i think i found a way to get the mount done.
 
i'm going to go with my original idea of attaching 2 steel rods from the  
washer (that's mounted on the mantle), but on the top, i'm going to have a 
tab  welded to the one rod to the one side to where it overlays the e-trigger 
frame.  there is an area on it where i can drill and thread for a set of 
thumb  screws.
 
I know i have thumb screws around here somewhere, so i'll start looking for 
 them, i'll cut the rods to length (the bottom one will just be for some 
extra  lower support), find my flat bar stock, cut a pieces of that to size 
and drill  the holes for the thumb screws to pass through (would be a bit 
harder to do ones  it's all welded together).
 
once that's done i can start laying out the servo for the elevation and  
start getting the marker wired in
 
 
 
I was hoping UPS was going to show up today, they have a box of sprockets  
for me for the trany, driver sprocket and idler wheel (sprocket). guess 
there's  always monday......
