Dan , first off the T-34 is an excellent choice of tank, I have used servos in the past to fire markers and not been all that happy with the results. the best method I have found is to use a servo to briefly connect a micro switch wired to a 12v car door actuator ,the actuator when fitted directly to your marker will easily pull the trigger all day long .
your first concerns should be regarding motors and build materials. best of luck.
