I've been using the Arduino recently for my upcoming artillery piece. It has a Servo library that should allow it to communicate with any speed controller that understands the hobby servo PWM scheme. That's pretty much all of them. I've coded but haven't tested the servo control portion of my software. I should get to that point very soon. If I have any problems with it I'll let you know.
I used the smaller Sabretooth for my turret control and it works great. I think a few of our members have used the 2x25 with mixed results.
