so do you run 3 6v batteries, or is there a secret 18v battery I have
not seen before? I have been thinking about using those same type of
motors in a small tank design, and am trying to figure a few things
out.

Always at 18 V. They give me a speed of 500 RPM or 7.5 - 8.5 kms / h. for
scales 8th and 6th. Thta's between 48 and 64 kms/h real life speed.
12 Volts would double the Amps and fry my ESC, 24 Volts are just too
fast.
