Thank you Chrys & Chris , I have many plans of how to power this tank , first and formost are the wheel chair motors , provisions will be set for further power and transmision systems ( possibly including peddle ) if the wheelchair motors prove too slight.
I plan to fix 4no 4mm nylon nut and bolts into each track pad to hold the sandwich of ply/treadmill/inner plate together , Im also considering changing the 1mm steel plates for 6-9mm plywood ,im concerned the metal plate will bend over time making the track longer than designed round the drive wheel.
