Chris :- I`ll be happy to see this tank completed so I can ride and battle in it . the bolts do go through the pads and will reduce the wear on the plywood track pads ,I do not wish to make my track any more complex. I could always fix thin sacrificial plates to the pads if they start to wear out too quickly.
