got a chance to go out to the garage and took the off-set links with me, and guess what, they won't fit the 25 pitch chain either (just like the regular links wouldn't). when you put the links from Surplus center next to the chain i have, the side (plates?) of the chain looks to be almost twice as thick as the links - guess the chain i bought is a better quality.... the regular connection links and the off set links from surplus center, the chain i got off of e-bay. i'll order chain from the surplus center but only if someone in here has done so and used their links as well with no problems i'm about to look online for more links - just in case they might be heavy made so those that have used 25 pitch chain, did you order it from surplus center along witht he connection links or did you buy it from somewhere else?
