Kids making thier own berby cars, not a chance. Any kid with an male figure in thier life who has any talent for woodcraft has no prayer of actualy fashionning thier own car. I know from experience. When I was that age I had to sneek into the neighbors shop and cut out mine in secret. Of course I was flogged for doing so without supervision of an adult (my dad and grandpa were both more angry that they didn't build it, more than they were mad that I didn't ask for help). Besides, my nephew had me help him last year. It was his own design and I only cut it out, he honestly did the rest. But I built a second one at the same time for my own ammusement and he made me trade him for his when he realized his was sub-par. This year he just contracted the work outright to me to get a winner. I honnestly don't think this will be the fastest, but he want's the looks. Yesterday I painted it red and later added white stripes, but the white Krylon ran badly and the making tape bled something fierce. So tonight It gets sanded back down and perhaps et a few more details added to the bodywork.
