since the weather isn't sub-arctic out and too windy to use the ladder
outside like i need to, i made a break for the garage to work on my other
motor/trany's units.

(grant it, the aluminum was still cold to handle this morning)

between yesterday and this morning, i cut 3 more base plates and 6 sides.
this time rather than trying to clean up the edges with a file, i used the
2" belt sander on the 2-face sander and that cleaned things up nicely (but
can't say the same for me as i had fine aluminum sandings all over me and
tried to brush myself off as best as possible before going back into the
house). i'll have to take a vac out there soon and try to vac up all the
aluminum dust off of things and the floor (including my truck).

i'll begin drilling them (if i can) this afternoon to secure the side
plates to the base plates, and then start drilling them out to mount the
motors.

i could have had them all cut out and cleaned yesterday, but my 4 batteries
for the cordless saber saw just didn't hold up long (they never do with
this saw, and i don't use the laser), so down time was due to charging them.

yet another small step towards getting the Tiger running .......
