I have found a little tank time today and now have 4 of my 8 road wheels and swing arms suspension fully working , meaning the tank can now support its self off the ground , even with me sat in it . its a bit springy due to the fact that only the 4 corner wheels are there to provide lift , I couldn't resist fitting the one track I`ve so far build and giving the tank a push across the workshop. to my delight it moved very gracefully. next I sat inside and even travelled up and down the length of my garage by simply pulling and pushing the track with my arm over the side. was this my Marders maiden voyage ? no. I dont think it qualifies, but I dont think it is a long way off . Im a happy tank builder today and now think the maiden voyage will be 2-3 weeks . I may have time to put a few pictures on here tomorrow.
