Came across these folks restoring a Citroen-Kegresse P17, including building a new set of tracks by what we know as the Tyng method. Apparently it scales up pretty well! Most of the pictures will enlarge if you click "view image" and it makes a nice large-scale tutorial on track construction. The videos in the other part of the site demonstrate that the homemade tracks are quite durable.
