Yes it is corrugated plastic. I have been adding two layers of corrugated plastic running in opposite direction. Right now I plan on using 1/2 inch ply to support internals and the outer hull would be bolted on to that. It's not the usual method but I think it will work. why not just build the hull from the plywood (could get away with 3/8 and most likely 1/4")?
