I've had nothing but trouble using push-in fittings (slow leaks that cause freeze-ups which block gas flow). Over the winter I updated the Cromwell turret, replacing the two push-in fittings with standard 1/4" brass plumbing compression fittings. I expect to have a more consistent firing gun this season.
