finally........ (or just about anyway)

Bill (the guy with the wood shop out back of me) and I met up at his shop
yesterday and spoke about the lower hull and how do i want to proceed at
this time. i told him to just cut the plywood with the extra to allow for the
box (finger) joints to be made.

he called me this afternoon that the woods been cut and if i'd like to pick
it up as is, i could. so i went around figuring if i did pick it up
tonight, i could at least have the hull put together and glassed by the 12th
(not
like it would do me any good).

while i was there we BS'ed a bit and he made another box joint jig, this
time for 3/8" took two 2' length pieces of plywood, notching one board at a
time and then put them together. they all but fell together and only
required a slight tap with the palm of the hand. it's a perfect fit as it
should
have been the first time.

the next few days he's going to be building custom replacement windows
(old, single paint kind), but says he'll get back to finishing the tank right
after that (maybe by this coming weekend? would be nice). so with any luck,
by this time next week, i'll be glassing the hull

in case i don't make it to this battle, i'll send pictures of the hull as
soon as it's together
