From: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, May 31, 2011 10:07 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [TANKS] Motor-trany housing pt4 here i have started the one hole and have gone in about 5 times (i go in until it starts to get a little firm to turn and stop, then back the tap all the way out and tap the plate to clear out anything that might be in there as well as check the tap to make sure nothing is gumming up) i never really take count as to how many times it takes until i have tapped deep enough. i am using 1/2" long bolts, so i try to tap at least 1/2" in and here i have 2 of the bolts screwed in snug/tight with lock washer and one about to be done this is as far as i got tonight, tomorrow i'll try to star marking out where i need to drill for the bolts that will hold the motor in place and then i'll drill out for the bushings for the chain sprockets Chris, Odyssey Slipways -- You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
