those are 12 volt, 10 amp batteries i paid $25.00 each including shipping,
the ones i bought:

as far as i know they are used for many things, scooters being one of them.
depending how it runs will depend on how many batteries i use and at what
volts.

as for how many batteries, i was just saying up to 6 as that's how much
room i have to spare, but the most i'd put in is 4 and those 4 would either
give me 24volt, 20ah or 12volt, 40ah.

when i decided on these, there where 2 other batteries i was looking at,
but i broke it down by cost per amp per one battery and then figured weight
per amp as well as cost of the battery and i ended up choosing this battery.

as to the motor-trany unit shown there, that's 1 of 4 (I'm building the
other 3 now), and that's what where in the 4 emails i sent with the subject of
MOTOR-trany housing where i show what i have been doing as i go along
