Looking back over your posts, I see that you are building a 3' long armoured car, though I'm not sure what sort. That should be enough room, though your car sounds v heavy. Culd it be lightened?
Frank or Steve (I think) suggested earlier that you really need to plan out the motors, the marker, the battery and the electrics before building the hull. Remember that although your car is 1/6th of the length of the original, it is only 1/216th of the volume of the original. If all else fails, could you put the batteries in a trailer?
