I meant that the controlling device- in this caes a person rather than a radio-
runs on Pop Tarts.   Pop Tarts don't give ME the power to do zero skid turns,
so I wouldn't expect them to power the tank that way either.  Gator Ade has
more power though. . . (still not enough).

I've done some 100-160 mile long bicycle rides and I discovered that I spend
more money for Gator Ade on these trips than I would have for gas in the car.

I only wish pop tarts had the calorific power to preform zero skid
turns in a 1/3th tank, if that was true I wouldnt need all the extra
weight that comes with 24 v of SLA  :)

And Guy , you can build a tank with any petrol engine you wish , but
if you wish your tank to receive an rctankcombat designation it will
have to fit within the rules and be electrically powered.
I intend to build my next tank to have a petrol engine ( or two ) that
can easily be replaced by a pair of electric motors for rctankcombat
tank battles.
Try this site for ideas :-

its a bit like this site but builders build bigger tanks mainly using
petrol engines
