Great. I am all up for all metal tanks. That;s the point, no? ALuminium sheets can be sawn with a saw and they save you tons of space. What is the overall length and weight of the tank and how thick are the aluminium sheets?

If you trust your tracks shift the motors to the fast gear however with 18 V (12 + 6 in a row). This tank is light enough and you will be amazed with the speed.

Have fun!

Chrys

JOhn, do you run the 18V drills on 12 Volt batteries?????
Is that efficient? Won;t that increase the amps? I did this once and kept
burning fuses before I touched the trottle.
Plenty of space in you hull. Gorgeous.

Actually Chrys it was running on 24 volts. Waaaayyyyy toooooo much
power . Took off like a bucking bronco even with the batteries
centered. We will be tweaking the power curve this weekend. Hopefully
I'll have a few videos to post.

And Chrys, you do realize that you were the inspiration for making
this size of tank.
