Thanks Neil for the kind words, but you reminded me why I'm building a simple 
and reliable tank- to put you in your place!  I'll need to print a target to 
practice shooting at in my yard, and I found the perfect image to inspire me.   
I just added another picture to my PhotoBucket page that will be my printed 
target.  What do you think?

Thats great stuff, simplicity is the way to go. thats not a slow tank
and neither is the progress.
Make sure you have enough space for the turret and bits, although i`ll
bet a guy like you has got it worked out already.
