I had (don't remember if I still have them) a pair of wheelchair motors.  I
decided against them because I would've had to make a rather complicated
mount or gearing up on them to get them at the right speed for a tank.
 Plus they were heavy as hell.  All of the normal speed controllers that we
mention here will work with them.  They are just permanent magnet DC motors
like any other.  I used a Vantec RDFR38D or my IFI Victors to drive them.
 They would work with the Robot Power ESC's too.  Some have even gotten
creative with complete wheel chair controllers and used servos to control
the movement of the joystick.  Gorilla glue will work for wood to rubber.
 Glue that dries "rubbery" should work.
