After more research ill be going with a new differential design to be
more accurate to the real sdkfz 250. heres a webpage that explains it
better then I can. the page is about the Kettenkrad but the sdkfz 250
used a very similar diff just more with more gears.

I just received the 250 watt motor, its bigger then I was thinking but
should still fit nicely in the engine compartment. I plan on mounting
a 24v fan where the radiator would be to keep that big motor cool.
