My tank uses two 12v 17ah batteries in series. I take six batteries for a day of battling and that's always been enough. It probably depends a lot on your battling style, though, and how mobile you are. I carry two or three 12 oz CO2 bottles and again, that's been p lenty. Will usually has a big CO2 tank for refills. I haven't measured, but I bet I go through about 300 paintballs in a day of battling. I highly recommend dividing your paintball stock up into 40 round (or 30 rounds depending on your tank) containers to make reloading as fast as possible. I created some appropriately sized containers from PVC pipe and end caps. Others use small tubes meant for tools or small hardware. I've seen them at Home Depot.

I'd like to get people's experiences on battery power consumption, spares, cost of batteries, etc. Rate of consumption of air/CO2, number of extra gas bottles, would be nice to know too. -- You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
