just a note that is important to the following - i deal with an online
store (2 others i use to deal with folded up) that sells my products. this
current weekend they and a lot of sci-fi modelers are away at a show called
WonderFest, so at this time of year, no one wants to buy anything at the store
as they want to save up their funds to spend at the show. that being said,
i just got a partial payment for the current store restock and it's only
enough to cover the tank battle trip this coming weekend - and why not, i'm
out of needed things to finish them the rest of the way as i have been out
of cash for a few weeks now, but things will pick up the middle of June
(why not)

ya i can hear ya, what about the tiger - it stalled too, it's at the point
of needing larger sums of funds such as new motors and the likes (and no,
it won't be at the show, i felt there's not reason to bring it)

as to the secrete projects, the first one i started (and you haven't seen
anything of yet, but will shortly) is 5 pill boxes/bunkers. they were
started with a piece of 10" tubing (i forget the name, but it's what they use
for making concrete forms in the ground).

the thought behind these was to give a few more structures to the field (i
understand Joe was making some buildings but know nothing more beyond that)
but as i was toying with the idea of how to make them, they then turned
into something someone could mount up to 2 palm video-recorders in as they
would have a view port to look through (plexi-glass). i thought this way guys
how have them but either don't bring them because they feel they will be
too busy on the field trying not to get shot would now have a place to put
them. i thought from that point it would give some interesting battle
footage of tanks rolling by at ground level.

i did see one of these pill boxes/bunkers with a larger range finder on
top, but can not find it now. i wanted to get a copy of the picture so i would
have it in case it was questioned (the range finder) as i was planing on
making it and using it as a voice tube (of sorts). it would allow some sound
to penetrate the inside of the PB/B without exposing the cameras inside to
paint goo.

at the moment, they are about half way finished. the PB/B's have been cut
to size, wooden stiffener rings added to the top and bottom as well as 1 to
2 layers of glass cloth and resin. the tops still need to be made along
with the pieces to frame out the view ports, the plexi-glass and the mounts
for the cameras as well as another one of the tubes cut down so i can add a
second layer to the inside.

at this time i am out of resin, fiberglass and brushes (for applying the
resin)

the other secrete project is for fold up bridges. i was making a master
pattern on a piece 2' x 2' plywood that was to be getting sheets of scaled
field stone glued to it. from that there was to be a mold made of it so i
could pull fiberglass sheets of the stone pattern and attach it to plywood
bridges. as i would make the fiberglass sheets, i was going to sprinkle in
fine
sand in the first layer of resin as to give the tanks something to grip to
rather than slip and slide (when coated with paint or moisture)

at this time i need another 3 packets of the flag stone sheets and the
materials to make the mold

i had a left over section of the tube that i am planing to make at least 1
old style water tank from that would have areas left out so a camera could
be placed in it as well.

i was asked about the PB/B's and if they would be big enough to put a
marker in, so i sat it next to the Tiger's turret with the marker and it just
looks too small to make it work, but i think they make a 12" tube and that
might just work, but i'm not sure. but then i'm not 100% sure about the 10"
tube either as i haven't been looking at markers so i don't know if they
came up with a more compact design that could fit.

so as soon as i post this, i'll start posting the emails i started for the
PB/B's
