Ive been looking into nerf guns and although for adults who are used to paintball nerf does seem pretty tame. Im starting with nerf because some of my students are only 11-12 years old and im not allowed to blind any of them. Following Aahz`s advice I have looked into the "Rayven" its an 18 round semi auto, i plan to fire this gun with a very slow geared down 12v motor gear box (around 8-10 rpm) with a cam on the trigger that fires the gun once every revolution. nerf guns are quite big so that will be a factor on their usage. My 1st class is wednesday 16th june , up to now the school have given me a very piddly £100 . so we will be looking to scrounge as much as possible, same old same old really, thats the sprite of the hobby in my eyes , making tanks out of bits of old drills / prams and washing machines.
