I have some ideas on how to make a turret ring, and was wanting some input. I'll be setting up a CNC router later this month, so they will be available.
These would be open rings, with all the gearing and connections on the edge out of the way. I plan on making one for my Abrams, though I'm looking at a model specific one for that, the contours on the glacis plate come up to the turret ring, but a plain square mount that anyone can use should be viable.
