If I may make a recomendation, I would add 1:6 Stuarts at the top of your 
list.
There are a lot of those mass-produced R/C (and static) plastic Stuarts out 
there looking for replacement parts.  Lots of folks make metal parts, but 
if one 
part of the drive is replaced with metal, the metal parts eat the plastic 
parts 
that much faster. I think that there is a ready-made market for parts cast 
in 
black nylon. 
 
Look around the net.  You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a dozen of 
them.  And the originals aren't being produced anymore.
