I'm sorry to hear that. Hope you don't go through too much pain. Treasure your memories of him. I wish I could have met him. As a side note, I have a 280z that was sitting out in the woods... I dragged it into the shop to see what I could do... but of course parts are awfully expensive, the only thing that could work on the car is the engine, it needs a new body, probably even a new frame. They weren't very good when it came to resisting rust. So now it sits out by our old combine and three old Ford Couriers my dad likes. :( The worst part is, if it had been restored, after all that cost I couldn't drive it anywhere. I'd have to just take it to car shows, do a little run around, keep it off the dirt roads we live on. Very cool car, though. It was similar to the 240z, I think... condolences.
