PS.  Just wondering Steve, how many viruses, Trojan horses and such did you 
have to remove from your machine after this little Russian Net excursion...LOL. 
 I had to import a new anti-maleware scrubber after some of my peeks at Russian 
sites.  Yikes!!

  The IS-3 and 4 tanks were extreme experiments in angles.  I suspect that 
manufacturing challenges led the Soviets to go back to the box hull designs as 
in the T-72 though T-90 series.

  Here's several schematics of the JS-3 (including the underside of the hull).  
To find this stuff I Google translated JS-3 Tank from English to Russian (ИС-3 
танк) and Googled the result.  Not everything on the net is in English.

  If I were to build this tank I'd go with a flat bottom.
