Hey Stu,

Yes the clock is ticking... as to getting down to APG before they're all
shipped to Fort Lee. Throw out a weekend (or during the week, it may work for
me) and I'll see if I can get down there... May even bring down the wife and
make a holiday of it all!! Just kidding...right honey, you don't like tanks, do
you sweetie?... LOL.

As to what I'd like to see, that's easy, the JS-III !!! But I'd also like to
get some solid data for the Jagdpanther, too.

So let me know what works for you, and I'll see if it will work for me.

Dave "itchin' to build something" D.

Subject: [TANKS] What tanks do you want more info on?

I contacted three former-employees of the Army Ordance Museum's, via military
e-mail.

One gentleman recomended http://www.panzertracts.com for detailed information
on a
variety of German vehicles, because many of the vehicles at APG were used as
  examples in Panzertracts' publications.

He also said that there is no Official list of vehicles on display, however,
if we made a list
of vehicles he would try his best to locate them for us.

  My Very Short-List includes:
                      Cast-hull M4 Sherman
                      T34 Sherman Calliope

According to my last view of the RCTankCombat Order of Battle, there are
curently
  one each: A27M Cromwell MkVI,
                        British Mk V,
                        Centaur CS Mk IV,
                        Comet,
                        CV9040B,
                        Ha-Go,
                        IS-4,
  two: King Tigers',
  three each: Panthers,
                        Shermans,
                        Stuarts,
                        StuG IIIs,
  five: Abrams',
  six: T-34s,
  seven: Leopards,
  eight: Hetzers, and
  thirteen (!?!) Tigers.

I would like to document as many vehicles on the OB as possible, starting
with variants
of which there are relatively few. Would anyone like to list other tanks
they would like
  measured and imaged?

  Stu
