Dave,

The original "Light Desert Gray" of the Cromwell was going to be the base 
color for that cool British three color desert camo pattern you more 
commonly see on the Matilda.  I decided that the three color pattern was 
too much work (yes, I am lazy when it comes to paint) and the Cromwell 
sported a more appropriate green color for a couple of years.  Wanting to 
go back to a lighter color the Cromwell is now a nice desert sand color.
