I have used hit sensors on model ships with smoke bombs and fire crackers. It is easy to do and very dramatic. All you need is a 1/4 inch copper tube, a dowel with a hit plate to go in and a micro switch. The switch is always on and attached to the end of the tube where the dowel keeps the switch off. You put a notch in the dowel and when the hit plate is pushed in by paintball it opens the switch and sends power to a model rocket igniter attached to a smoke bomb etc. You could also set it up to stop the power to the tank. If you use pyrotecnics all fire crackers or smoke bombs need to be in an insulated metal box that is ventilated. safety first or you start building your next tank. Doug S
