Folks, I am wondering what people have used as a protective coating for their tanks. Currently, my Abrams is painted with a 3 coats of oil based paint<http://www.rapcoparts.com/336tancsucud.html>. My concern however is that that I may mess up the paint job during combat with residue/stains from paint-balls. I imagine, to some extent, this is unavoidable. However I am wondering if people have any thoughts on adding a few coats of matte polyethylene or some other coating to make paint-ball battle scars easier to wipe off. I'd rather not have to dissemble and repaint after every battle.
Any clever suggestions are welcome. Regards, - Andy -- -- You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
