Well men, and ladies, it's day 9 in our continuing effort to be perfectly able to overcome any and all gremlins that might beset us on our quest to achieve rctankcombat total consciousness.
Part 3. Remember those pieces that were jiggling around, fell off, grinding against something, you know what I mean, those parts. And remember that you made a mental note, put it in your smart phone, wrote it on the back of your hand, put it in a time capsule, to make sure these were addressed before next battle. So, where are the notes? Don't know anymore. So, go over every bolt, connectors, and test each system. Because something else is going to need attention anyway. Oh yes, don't forget the carb training and have a pint while completing the above task. Part 4 Batteries- Get out your tester to check voltages on all of your power supplies. Rats, looks like I left the tester on and need to replace it's battery. I record the voltages for each battery before the battle, after the battle and after recharge. I've found that eventually the float chargers do wear out and need to be replaced. Make sure all terminals are clean and connections are snug. Do you have a full set of spares for each system? Main drive, receiver supply, gun actuator, transmitter . Also, don't forget camera batteries. They'll need to be fully charged to bring back fond remembrances of your foes breaking down because they did not follow your preparedness regimen. Time to reward yourself with another pint. And some ice cream. Tomorrow: PAINT Oberst Johann -- -- You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
