Paul, be careful not to inject too much common sense into the mailing
list discussions. If newbies actually start spending time working on
the important things like reliability and usability, we'll (a) see too
many people actually battling and (b) have a harder time slaughtering
them. We don't need any more rookies like Mangus and Loic who build
reliable, effective tanks and then have fun with them battling in their
first events.

... The *most* important design considerations are to build the smallest
possible vehicle and install the most complicated automatic fire-control
system you can find, with plenty of lasers and cameras pointing in all
directions. Only then will you be able to dominate the battlefield.
